Erasmus+

The EU\'s flagship youth program

Erasmus+ is the European Union\'s program for education, training, youth and sport. With a budget of €26.2 billion for 2021–2027, it is the largest international mobility program in the world.

Türkiye is an Erasmus+ Programme Country, meaning Turkish youth organisations can apply for funding on equal terms with EU organisations.

Groups of 13–30-year-olds from different countries meet for 5–21 days to work on a shared topic. Typically 10–60 participants. Costs fully covered by Erasmus+ grant.

Solidarity Corps

European Solidarity Corps

The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) gives young people aged 18–30 the chance to volunteer, work or do traineeships with organisations across Europe — fully funded.

Turkish young people are eligible to participate, and Turkish organisations can host or send volunteers. ESC is separate from Erasmus+ but uses a similar framework.

Beyond Erasmus+ and ESC, Europe funds a range of youth and civil society programs. Many are open to Turkish youth organisations.

Youth Department Programs
The Council of Europe runs training courses, seminars and study sessions for youth workers and young people. Their European Youth Centres in Strasbourg and Budapest host hundreds of events annually.

Germany–Türkiye

The Germany–Türkiye corridor

Germany has one of the deepest bilateral youth cooperation relationships with Türkiye. Dedicated programs and institutions fund youth exchanges, language learning and civic engagement across both countries.

This is YouthTICK\'s priority corridor — we are working to become a trusted bridge in this space.

JUGEND für Europa is the German National Agency responsible for implementing Erasmus+ in the youth sector. They publish calls, offer training and connect organisations looking for international partners.
